A Whole Lot of Pictures

We started off last week by going to Brandon Jefford's work, Reel FX Studios. Suzy, Brandon's wife, was taking her kiddos and her niece and nephew and I thought that Jacob would enjoy it. We had a lot of fun. It was cool to see some actual movies being worked on. The guy that sits next to Brandon has one of the real "Jaws" shark heads from the original movie, it was pretty neat.

The kids at Brandon's desk.

The Jaws head.

We pretty much just hung around the house most of the week until Friday, which was really nice I enjoyed being somewhat lazy. Here is a picture Kevin took of Jacob and Daisy in our bed.
Two sleepy heads.

Friday...we had so much fun! Suzy, Hilary, and I took 8 kids (my one, Hil's 2, Suzy's 3 plus her niece and nephew) to the Ft. Worth Stockyards. We started by driving to the train and taking it to downtown. Then we hopped on a bus for the stockyards .
Here is some of what we did and saw:

Jacob and Max on the train.

Jordyn and Hilary

The kids hanging out.

Petting the horse.

A real life cowboy! One of the cowboys had a whip and he cracked it in the air it was so loud that it sounded like a gun shot. He said that was because it broke the sound barrier.

Ride em' cowboy!

Jordyn, Darby, Curtis, Gracie, Cara, Dash, Jacob, and Max waiting for the Cattle Call. Twice a day they have a cattle call where the men on horses drive the cattle down the cobblestone street, it was really neat.

Here come the cattle.

They are really close.
Those are some cute kids!
Three hot mamas! Me, Suzy, and Hilary
A kid in a candy store. They had this cute candy shop and half of
the walls were covered in candy wrappers.
Suzy and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to take a picture under this sign.

All the kids were tired by the end of our trip. Dash had hurt his foot when we first got there he spent some of the day with only one shoe on he was so dirty by the end of the day, but so cute!

We had a great week!

Great times! The Jaws heads were scary! I was so scared of sharks after that movie came out. Eek!
